Each Frontier location is connected to the Internet via at least one
synchronous, high-speed data line. These lines are leveraged to provide a
secured VPN, which supports reliable inter-site communication.
Frontier also maintains reliable connectivity to its clients and vendors via location-specific SAP interfaces and online access to enable rapid information sharing and to reduce overhead and human error. Secured
Frontier employs a multi-layered hardware and software approach to security at
the perimeter, point-of-access gateways, servers, and desktops. All of
Frontier’s locations are secured via state-of-the-art firewalls, VPN
encryption, multi-site VLANs, intrusion detection, and anti-virus technologies.
All of these measures are constantly monitored and updated to ensure that
Frontier’s network and client information is kept secured and protected.
Reliable & Scalable
Frontier’s systems were built from the ground-up with reliability, flexibility,
and scalability as their foundation. Frontier pursues a multi-layered,
proactive approach to provide adaptive, fault-tolerant systems. Prior to
purchase and deployment, all network devices are thoroughly researched and
tested. Monitoring solutions provide day-to-day post-deployment support.
Periodic evaluations are also performed to ensure the integrity of each network
device as well as the network performance as a whole. As a last line-of-defense
to ensure reliability, all data is backed up regularly to protect against
hardware failure. Data from internal mission-critical systems is also encrypted
and then distributed across all network sites to provide rapid disaster
recovery response.
All of Frontier’s hardware and software solutions are designed and deployed to enable near-effortless adaptation to changes in the industry as well as our client’s needs. Although each device is configured to operate in its current configuration, strict adherence to industry standards and development procedures allows for the possibility of radical changes to network topology and/or functionality with little or no impact to service levels.
